With a background in early years education and a life shaped by travel, Hayley has spent years noticing the small moments that often matter most: the comfort of routine, the beauty of place, and the way children experience the world with curiosity and calm.

a little boo was born from this space, a character designed to explore cities and emotions gently, without noise or fear. The stories are inspired by real places, everyday magic, and a belief that children’s books can be both soothing and meaningful.

When she isn’t writing, Hayley can often be found walking historic streets in new cities, collecting story ideas, or dreaming up Boo’s next adventure.
